Social Services
Central Singapore Community Development Council (CDC) administers various social assistance schemes delegated from the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) to help needy families and individuals achieve self-reliance and financial independence. This is achieved via direct assistance or by linking needy residents to community resources, referrals to other government agencies, voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs),grassroots organisations (GROs) and self-help groups.
