Project INCLUDE

About Project INCLUDE

Project INCLUDE is an initiative to ensure that our residents, regardless of their disabilities, are able to take part, enjoy themselves, and benefit from communal activities, along with the rest of the community.

The CDC has put in place efforts to:

  • Institutionalise practices to ensure our CSCDC office and programmes are disabled friendly;
  • Engage more agencies in the disability sector to be involved in mainstream programmes; and
  • Empower others to initiate programmes to promote an inclusive Central Singapore District.

Project Include in action

APSN’s Running Hour Club became the first disability group to form a
Healthy Lifestyle Club . The group has taken part in CDC programmes like the Monthly Walks as well as other community programmes.

Residents from the Bishan Home for the Disabled are among the 7 disability groups who have performed at the CDC’s CLAP! programme.

Street CLAP! celebrates the International Day of People with Disabilities. Cheered on by their family, friends and the audience, the performers put up a great show.
