1) My Environment Community Alert Network (ME CAN)
ME CAN aims to establish communication channels with key stakeholders in the community to enable alerts on public health emergencies to be cascaded to al segments of the Central Singapore population.
Implementation
- Establish contacts with the various stakeholders in your community to form a ME CAN network
- Appoint a key personnel to receive information from NEA and CSCDC
- Activate relevant ME CAN partners to reach out to their respective community groups.
2) Senior Citizens Outreach Programme to Enrich (SCOPE)
Tailored for senior citizens to educate them on public health issues
Implementation
- Identify volunteers to be trained as S.C.O.P.E Ambassadors.
- Identify Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) or organizations dealing with senior citizens’ welfare in your neighbourhood to partner with.
- Volunteers from grasrroot organizations and VWOs will receive training by NEA and will be the S.C.O.P.E. Ambassadors for your constituency.
- S.C.O.P.E. Ambassadors will be equipped with the S.C.O.P.E trainer kit.
