1) Home Energy Audit
Educating residents to save electricity in their homes.
Implementation
- Form a group of Energy Saving Ambassadors and receive training from NEA.
- Promote awareness of energy saving measures at grassroots events through stage quizzes and exhibitions
- Conduct house visits to help residents audit their homes' energy usage.
- Organise other activities to entice residents to convert their awareness into actions.
E.g. contests for the most energy efficient home.

“Do the 4 COOL steps, make simple changes to your habits to save money and fight climate change. Every little step counts.”
C – Set your air-conditioner’s thermostat at 25° C
O – Switch off electrical appliances at the mains
O – Own energy efficient electrical appliances with energy label
L – Switch to energy saving or compact fluorescent light bulbs
