The Central Singapore District is rich in history and heritage. The community trails seek to build strong community identity through promoting the heritage and history of various people and places. It provides a platform for education and development, networking and socializing. The journey would allow a deeper appreciation of the places which constitute to what Singapore is today.

Central Singapore Community Development Council (CDC) has been working with partners such as National Heritage Board, Urban Redevelopment Authority, schools and the local grassroots organisations to uncover and document the stories of Balestier, Bishan, Farrer Park, Jalan Besar, Jalan Kayu, Queenstown and Radin Mas.
