The Community Life Arts Programme seeks to enliven the Central Singapore District by bringing arts to the heartlands and promoting the message of “Arts for all”.
Started in year 2001 as an ad-hoc arts-based community outreach effort in the heartlands, CLAP! has grown and developed into one of Central Singapore CDC’s key regular programmes which has the potential to reach large audiences. It had been recorded that we have approximately reached 10,000 participants in Year 2004.
CLAP! involves the participation from various local and community arts groups, grassroots organizations, schools, Voluntary Welfare Organizations, government agencies, corporate organizations and residents.
CLAP! is a platform for whoever who has a passion to perform, who wants to share their dreams and to showcase their talents. So wait no longer, do sign up with us to Perform at CLAP!, and if you have further enquiries, please do not hesitate to e-mail the Arts Manager @ arts@centralsingapore.org.sg.
